Welcome to Hill Farm Nursery!
Here at Hill Farm Nursery we aim to offer the best possible start for your child by providing a welcoming, vibrant and friendly environment
Our qualified teacher and support staff offer well-structured, purposeful and challenging experiences in a caring, creative and stimulating indoor and outdoor environment that enables your child to become a confident learner who is proud of their achievements and who they are.
The Foundation Stage
At Hill Farm Nursery we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) which covers seven areas of learning:
- Communication and Language
- Physical Development
- Personal, Social and Emotional Development
- Understanding the World
- Expressive Arts and Design
Our children are encouraged to learn and explore the EYFS curriculum through a range of well-planned adult and child led activities. Many of our learning experiences are based around play so please don’t be concerned if your child says that they have been playing all day – it just means that they have been lucky enough to have experienced staff who have made their learning fun and enjoyable!
The School Day
Children can attend for either 5 morning sessions or 5 afternoon sessions. The times of these are as follows:
Morning session: 8:30-11:30
Afternoon session: 12:30-3:30
All day Sessions
Children may be eligible to receive 30 hour funding. The criteria for this is set by the government and more information on this can be found here:
